Description

Delightful script font of “Georgia”– with a carved out peach for the “o”! It is 17″ Long by 3″ Tall by 1/8″ thick steel, and powder coated black for a striking, durable finish. Leave as is, or get creative and paint that cute peach, well, a peach color like we did in one of the photos shown here. Perfect to display on a table, set on a mantel, or hang in any room!

NOTE: This comes in the powder coated black version. The painted version is to show how you can get creative.

Why do we use 1/8″ thick steel for our art?  We use 1/8″ because it makes a strong beautiful piece of metal art that will stand up to pretty much anything without bending and the thickness makes it look and feel substantial due to its depth. It’s the standard we use on our signs and is a lot more than those we see out there. To put it in terms of U.S. coins: 1/8″ = .125″  = 11 Gauge = Thicker than a Quarter and a Dime Stacked on Top of Each Other (2.4% Thicker).  It is 250% thicker than 18 Gauge and 60% thicker than 14 Gauge.

HARDWARE NOT INCLUDED: Hanging/mounting hardware is not included with this item. A couple of discreet nails may be used inside the letter holes to mount to your wall or door.

We at RiverDriveDesigns are based in Cartersville, Georgia, and design/make all our own steel art, pergola brackets, shop table brackets, Candle-Saver™ Candle Toppers, and True Bullnose® padded carpet stair treads.  We are a small, family-owned/operated business which proudly pays a living wage, sources raw materials locally, and recycles all scrap steel. ***Please note that steel in its natural state has blemishes in it. If after purchasing, you leave it as is– or if you seal or clearcoat it– the blemishes will show. If you do not want to see them, just paint it to match your decor. 🙂
